The Flu Season
Are you concerned about getting the flu? The news is certainly giving the flu high priority these days. An epidemic? I don’t think so. If you look at the history of the past number of years you will notice that this flu issue comes up every year, pretty much on time and with similar verbiage.

Should you be concerned about the flu? That depends. Are you doing everything you can to stay well and healthy? Here are a number of suggestions you won’t hear too much about.

First of all, stay away from unhealthy people. I mean it. Stay away from the circumstances and environments that cause your immune system to become either super suppressed or heightened. It’s no mystery that people in the hospital get sick from people in the hospital. On the other hand, if you are healthy, make sure you expose yourself to natural immune stimulants. What I mean is, don’t be afraid of germs. There have been reports that the antibacterial soaps and liquids keep your body from being exposed to natural microbes. Back in the day, kids were encouraged to play outside in the dirt. Maybe not eat the dirt, but nonetheless play in it. There is good advice for this. Within reason, the more exposure you get to the environment, the better memory your lymphocytes or immune system has and can respond to. It is when a system becomes overloaded that the microbes take a hold and proliferate inside you as a host. And talk about stress…

Secondly, let’s make one big category of your stresses.
• Diet. You must avoid sugars and highly refined carbohydrates. These are certainly going to affect your immune system and keep you weaker. Also, you must add good fats and proteins into your diet.
• Sleep. If you’re not sleeping well, you’re not healing well. You must get adequate rest.
• Water. Are you hydrating yourself with adequate water? Not soda. Actually you need to eliminate soda. You just need water.

Thirdly, use homeopathic agents. Homeopathy has been around over 200 years, far longer than modern medicine and the wonder of pharmaceuticals. Even in the darkest ages of diseases homeopathic remedies have had fantastic results. It’s still the case today. We carry a number of them in the clinic all year but dispense more of the viral, bacterial, flu and cold remedies than usual. Homeopathic remedies have no side effects and really work wonders. You should look into them.

Fourthly, what about a flu shot? On its box it says “Tamiflu does not prevent bacterial infections that may happen with the flu.” The flu ingredients, in addition to mercury, flu vaccines also contain other toxic or hazardous ingredients like:

Aluminum — a neurotoxin that has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease
Triton X-100 — a detergent
Phenol (carbolic acid)
Ethylene glycol (antifreeze)
Betapropiolactone – a disinfectant
Nonoxynol – used to kill or stop growth of STDs
Octoxinol 9 – a vaginal spermicide
Sodium phosphate

So you decide if you want to inject these ingredients into you blood, past your natural barriers.

In summary, protecting yourself against the flu is in reality, keeping yourself well and healthy. You know how to do this yourself. And you know what? If you are living a healthy lifestyle, being exposed to microbes is another way for your body to keep up its surveillance.
