Your Metabolic Engines

19 Jun

There are five metabolic control systems that determine how efficiently your body and mind work. They control your energy production; they control the function of your heart and circulation; they control the function of your brain and nervous system; they determine your efficiency of digestion and use of nutrients; they control the chemical balance in your blood and in your cells; they help regulate your hormone balance; they help you eliminate toxic waste products of metabolism; and minimize the degenerative changes of aging.

These five fundamental metabolic control systems are the engines that drive your body and mind. When these engines are working efficiently you move through life with strength and vitality. When one or more of these control systems loses efficiency your body and mind simply cannot perform well. When metabolic imbalances become severe enough or exist for a long time, pathological changes occur and you suffer the symptoms of disease.

The five metabolic control systems can swing from one extreme to the other. The best function for you is to live in a nice balance between each of these extremes.

When they go awry your entire system will shift into one or more of these five metabolic control system imbalances.

These are the imbalances:

  • Electrolyte Insufficiency /Electrolyte Stress
  • Anaerobic /Dysaerobic
  • Glucogenic /Ketogenic
  • Sympathetic/Parasympathetic
  • Acid/Alkaline

How can you get these in balance???

We are balancing these.
